Dublin, San Francisco, Santa Cruz

We took an extended weekend to see my parents before little Belle comes.
On Friday the 13th we had fun walking around Lake Chabot Trail.

Afterwards, we went to the gym and Mom made some treats!

On Saturday we drove into San Francisco and found a cool park that overlooked the city on Vallejo and Taylor Street intersection called Ina Coolbrith Park.

Then we stopped at the Palace of Fine Arts and had a lunch picnic.

Next we walked around Mission Delores Park.
And had fun smelling all the newly legalized weed.

Then we hiked the hill Bernal Heights to see the 360 view.

Unfortunately, my varicose vein started hurting way more than is usually hurts and I couldn’t walk or move the leg without sharp pain and a certain spot was extremely tender and warm so Taylor and I decide to go to an insta-care…however they all closed at 8 pm so we went to the ER and the ER receptionist didn't listen to what we were saying so we ended up getting admitted to the OB floor to monitor Belle...

We at least had fun listening to her heart beat and seeing all the dots that meant she was moving.

Sunday morning Taylor and Dad worked our while Mom and I made Ham dinner for lunch.
Then we drove to Santa Cruz pier where my Dad use to go as a 12 year old kid.

We had to play one of the games my Dad always wanted to play as a little kid!

After the boardwalk, we went to see Point Santa Cruz.

Then we drove Highway 101 and walked around Wilder Park and then saw this place off the side of the road and decided to stop!
Shark Fin Cove:

It was a steep climb down. And we had to dunk our heads under a pipe…which I did on the way down, but not the way up! Haha! Ow!

Luckily I had my hiking poles and lots of help!

Watching the sun set over the ocean.

Taylor found some seaweed and decided it was a whip like Indiana Jones.

Climbing back up before the sun fully sets.

Monday morning we stopped at Treasure Island to show Taylor the old Navy base.
It was a foggy day so the view of the Bay Bridge and San Francisco wasn’t as clear.

We went to Golden Gate Park and enjoyed the Japanese Tea Garden.

We stopped at Shakespeare Garden before lunch. And after lunch, Taylor noticed a Russian Bakery down the street and wanted to try something different!
No, it’s not what you think. It’s a fruit roll with walnuts in the middle.

Cigar style.
To end our stay, we had to go re-visit Lands End.
30 weeks pregnant with little Belle.
Thanks Mom and Dad for the fun baby moon!
