Dinners

Taylor surprised me when I came home from work with a crock pot dinner since he wouldn't be home either

He also made me a pot pie with our pie maker from my Oma and Grandpa that they gave us for our wedding when I had to work an extra shift this week

I watched Taylor try to play basketball with some neighbor guys
We went to the temple for 5 hours
Had a progressive dinner party Saturday with some neighbor couples where we made dessert and showed off our baby ...Jezza the gecko
Had my parents come over on Sunday for a late
Father's Day and made them dinner and dessert
Making our own recipe of berry pie
Taylor grilling the chicken with spinach and red pepper
The dinner

The pie turned out really yummy

We went on a walk/hike around our place

And Taylor picked me a flower :)

I also cut my bangs Saturday night so Sunday was our matchy-matchy day
Matching pink and bangs (Taylor's little Superman bang)

Sweet Things

I just have to say, sometimes I am so tired after work and then I come home to this:

So many love notes all the time!  Taylor usually always has a love note waiting for me when I come home.

Before our trip to Yellowstone, we bought a kitchen island for a great deal from someone in Brigham City
We use to only have a tiny space to cook....it makes a huge difference to have an island!
Before, this is all we had to cook on
In Brigham City we went on a little date to a yummy hamburger place

Then Taylor had to go to school and work, but when I picked him up, he had found a baby praying mantis!

And of course we watched the new Superman!

Taylor all decked out

Yellowstone

For the weekend we went on a camping trip to Yellowstone.
Highlights:
It was a fun car trip up, and we listened to some books on tape.
This is us the day  before at the library getting books on tape
It started raining, then hailing, then snowing on our way up.
We saw clouds and mountains in the shapes of different things on our car trip.  This is the pig and alligator fighting...if only we knew these rain clouds would become snow clouds...
But we're still happy!

The cold snow/rain made the hot springs look way awesome and foggy

We set up camp in the snow and luckily got a fire going.

The night was freezing but still lots of fun.
I woke up to Taylor making me breakfast.

And Taylor tried to wear my pants.

We went on all the hikes around Yellowstone.
We saw the grand canyon.

A little lady had fallen and I went to go help to make sure she was okay on our way down Yellowstone to all the hot springs.
We saw a bunch of hot springs and geysers.
Smells like sulfur
Walking on the boardwalk trails to see all the many geysers, hot springs, mud pots, and steam vents

Fire Circle hot springs

All the heat loving bacteria like to make cool colors
Taylor of course picked a flower for me, haha
Old Faithful
Grand Prismatic Spring shadows
We stopped at Jackson Hole on the way to my grandparents.
We looked at the stars.
We walked around and pet their horses and skipped rocks.
We drove back home and had a picnic in a town by the highway.
