The Last of September and Beginning of October

We had fun making a nest and creating a card to announce our happy news!

And we've been enjoying all things Fall, meaning we've been to Gardner Village a few times!

And had to have a caramel apple!

For one of our scout pack meetings, we went to This Is The Place and did a boat race in the river by the teepee.

Here are the boys putting their boats on the starting line.

And of course, Taylor and I like to do crafts together during the Fall so this year we made a ghost out of gauze, an old hanger, a styrofoam ball, and black fabric.

One side of the ghost has a happy face, the other side has a scary face.

Taylor has also had fun learning to crochet so he can make baby blankets for his twin (Rasmussen) nephews.

But not only has he been so crafty, he's been making all the dinners since I have a hard time with smells and the heat of the kitchen making feel very nauseated.
Butternut squash soup and homemade wheat bread!
We decided to buy a Halloween Village because we always love going to Gardner Village and holiday stores to look at their holiday villages.

And of course, we had to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving with Jigg's Dinner!
This year it was a lot easier to boil everything since our stove is actually normal sized, haha!

 Newfoundland Jigg's Dinner!

And we can't forget the Blueberry Duff for dessert!
