Sunday Monday Fundays

Matching teal Sunday for church

Walking down where we had our first date back in October at Jordan River Walkway

Reading Dove chocolate poems to each other like we did back in 2008

Taylor playing the guitar for everyone

Going to icecream before Carlie leaves for Texas

Seeing a 360 degree rainbow on our way to icecream

Taking neighborhood walks to where Taylor proposed
And all Taylor wanted to do was kiss me instead of taking pictures
And, because it's awesome, here's Taylor's song "Melting Butterflies"

Studly Study

Saturday morning we had a piano recital for my Mom's students.  And I played one of my original compositions

This picture is funny of us at the recital because it reminds me of this picture back in 2008
2008
My Mom and some of her good piano students

Then we enjoyed some cupcakes and Cafe Rio

And some entertainment watching a play at Desert Star

And smart Taylor had to study....but I don't think he was...

So he had to impress me and do one-handed push ups while doing homework...then a push up with me on his back....Studly Study

Valentine, Valentine, I'm so Glad Taylor's Mine

I spent Valentines at 0000 (that's midnight time--right when it became Valentine's Day) eating my lunch.  (This was actually probably at 0230...but you know...I was trying to be cool with the 0000.)
I made the cookies earlier that week...I love sugar cookies
Taylor came over when I woke up at 4pm to make me breakfast and give me a plethora of presents
See my finger in the picture frame?  That's me beckoning Taylor over so I can kiss him.
What's cookin' good lookin'?
My cute cookie he made me
I think it's funny you can see me in the balloon wearing my scrubs for work that I unfortunately had to go to in an hour
And because I missed my lover while at work during the night, I listened to the song he wrote me on repeat for 30 minutes straight....then later for 10 minutes straight....By 6 am I had little battery left on my phone

On Friday, Taylor and I celebrated our real Valentines Date
We walked around Trolley Square and took pictures of ourselves in mirrors after eating a ton of food at Zupas
Trolley Square is a really cool warehouse looking mall with twinkling lights
We stopped by the U of U and I saw Taylor's pottery art he's making :)
And Taylor ate Superman icecream!!! So excited for that bite!

And we decided to make a cool stepping stone for our future abode

Colorful glass!

And of course, Taylor had another gift for me
He made this box and put some chocolates and a seashell in it that he wrote on that said "Kiss Me"
And everyone worried that I didn't give Taylor a present, I did, but this is my blog and I like writing about Taylor :)

Melting Butterflies

The funny thing about the last two Sundays?  2 Sundays ago, Taylor wore his Ute shirt and I wore my Cougar shirt, then this Sunday, before I went to work, Taylor came over and we had switched colors!
2 Sundays ago
Last Sunday
And because Taylor is a gem, he gave me a gift before I went to work--which PS, was one of the worst work days I've had...if not the worst...One of the top 3 worst I can think of.

But at least I got to sleep after and then pick up Taylor and have a Quizno's picnic in the car while listening to his song he wrote for me.

And today I made some Valentines cookies for my family members!  Yay for no work and getting to bake and see Taylor again!

And it's 2:30 am....I really dislike night shift...Totally screws up your sleep schedule

Red and Blue

Taylor had to prove to me that he could totally pull off colored pants
Okay, hottie, you can totally pull off colored pants

We went to Provo to visit some friends Saturday night

We did so good coordinating our colors this Sunday for church

And then we came home and....well...
BYU verse U of U.  His only fault is loving Utah University.   I think he felt bad wearing so much blue earlier and going to BYU Provo the night before with me
Lunch date with Mama!  Gettin' our icecream on before we go shoe shopping

Ducks and Cougs

Hey, so you remember I love you forever and always I'll write it on your hand and it will still stay there even the next day.

And you can write me notes in the snow  <3

This is my favorite part of night shift...that and talking with patients who have insomnia and think I'm the boss and way chill.

Taylor and I had to go to a flower store and stopped by Sugar House park to see the ducks...and apparently the ducks wanted to be fed.

And our romantic dinner date under the lights

Followed by a super exciting Ferris Wheel ride at Scheels!
 At the very top!

The aquarium bridge
Scuba diver included within the glass,  feeding fish and waving at people

And Taylor got to reenact how he met me
Hmm..she's a hot cougar...how do I get her to like me back?
This is all he had to do #HeadOverHeels #ItTookHim8YearsToFigureThatMoveOut
