Auto Updates, MS Bike Ride, Boxes

I thought this picture of all three of our cars were funny since they were all lined up together.  We just sold the Jetta!
My parents no longer needed 2 cars living and working in the city, so they gave us their Malibu.

Taylor came with me to the Bike MS, Best Dam Bike Ride this last weekend in Logan!
We camped Friday night and did the booth for Rocky Mountain MS Clinic on Saturday with a few of my coworkers.
Setting up glamp!

 Our booth!
A lot of my coworkers rode while a few of us did the booth.

The fairgrounds for the Best Dam Bike Ride.

Here's our cute team!
There were probably 5 more people, but they didn't quite make it to the 6 am photo shoot!  I almost didn't make it either...

The start of the bike ride:

 And Snuggles photo-bombing our pictures!

And while everyone biked...Taylor and I went to the Gossner Dairy Factory...because even though I'm lactose intolerant, I got my lactase pills and a desire to eat all the squeaky cheese in the world!
Nausea, diarrhea, cramps, awkwardness?
Hashtag: worth it
And Taylor and I had fun welcoming back all the riders and playing hula hoops, ball, and jenga with some of the kids at the Bike MS.

And lately life looks a lot like this:
Movin' time...
We're excited to move this weekend!  But also already homesick for our current apartment... ;)
It's been a grand 3 years and 2 months!

Father's Day Festivities

Taylor and I were lucky enough to have a few leftover miles to go to San Francisco to visit my parents for Father's Day!

We went to one of my parents' favorite places to eat right after they picked us up from the airport, Baha Fresh.
And of course, Mom was all over the dessert!

Star chocolate cake!
To work off all the dessert we went on a hike in Pleasanton Ridge called the Woodland Trail.

Hiking pole buddies.
Part of the hike.
We came back for dinner and Mom made one of my all time faves...Manicotti!

Sunday morning Taylor left early and drove home in our new car a 2009 Chevy Malibu from my parents! So we gave my Dad his Father's Day card early on Saturday night.

Complete with Taylor's original illustration.
The rest of Sunday we spent in San Francisco while Taylor did all the hard work of driving the car home.
We went to China Town first.
Then strolled around the Palace of Fine Arts.

We walked around the pier after we ate In N Out and saw Pier 39 and then went over the the Golden Gate Park.
We found this little off shoot in Golden Gate Park called Shakespeare's Garden and we just relaxed in the shade for a while.

On our way home to Dublin, we detoured to Treasure Island which is an old military base island.

We started Monday off right by sleeping in and then working out our muscles!
It was fun teaching my mom how to squat with proper form and do a bench press.
Then we had fun exploring Dublin more and walking around my parents' neighborhood.
We even stopped to get an acai and pitaya bowl with bee pollen.
First time having bee pollen...haha!

And I had to FaceTime TayTay once he got home from driving
And...this happened. Never leave Taylor alone with anything permanent and markable...

Tuesday morning Mom and I hopped onto the train and headed to San Francisco to my Dad's work.

We ate an early lunch at the bank's cafeteria.

And we walked around downtown for a bit.

The funny-shaped brown building is where my Dad has an office

Happy Father's Day, Dad!  It was great to spend time with you!

It was a great extended weekend!  Love being able to see my parents even though they live in another state!

The Double U's: Wedding, Wanders, Work, Webelos

We had fun going to Taylor's friend's wedding at the SLC temple.

And because I didn't have my selfie stick, instead we just took two pictures of us that we can kinda mesh together:

Also, in kitchen news...I discovered shallots!
I used them with every meal I made this week...

And we finally got to hiking the Red Butte Mountain trail to the top again.  We even saw a gopher snake!

Taylor showed me where he works with the Refugees at the Catholic Community Services in SLC.

And we had an epic campout for all the Cub Scouts in Millcreek Canyon.
Unfortunately, it was a downpour of rain.
Unfortunately again, someone took our reserved spot.
Fortunately, because of the rain, there were a lot of other available sites.
Fortunately again, our new site was a lot cooler for the boys.
So...it equals out.
Luckily we thought to bring our tarp so the boys would have some shelter from the rain!
Taylor did such a good job getting the new campsite set up while the boys played around.  And he was so muddy!  He was pretty much muddy for the rest of the day!
Washing the mud from his hands by using nature's faucet...the rain falling off the tarp!

When life gets you wet and drenched: Model pic.
Then we taught all the boys how to build a fire and start a fire.
Notice the little boy wearing Taylor's jacket.  That's why Taylor didn't have a jacket after the first 3 minutes of getting to the canyon. A boy started to get wet and shiver.

They also had fun learning how to make a fire burn bright, or make a fire really smokey in-case they got lost.

They also thought it was awesome to "murder" the fire my pouring a ton of river water onto it.

We went on a couple of hikes with the boys.  Luckily, the rain let up after lunch so the boys didn't get too cold.

The boys also had fun skipping stones and throwing rocks into the river.

And I had a good time getting to see Taylor werkk it!

He dressed me up to be with him!
I got to observe a DSAEK processing procedure. It was cool!
