Gecko Spy

While Taylor had off last week, we bought ourselves a large cabinet for our kitchen so we had more room.
It has been so nice!

On Saturday morning we watched Taylor's mom run a marathon and then dropped my parents off at the airport and picked up little Ranger.
It took a few hours to get him back because the manager was stupid, but finally a new manager came in.

After picking up Ranger, we went to dinner with Taylor's parents and sister and I looked through Taylor's HS senior pictures
Notice his gecko in his suit pocket?

Oakey was fast asleep before we let Ranger go back in and they cuddled up.  It was cute.
She's now twice Ranger's size because Ranger is a runt and Oakey is a fatty.  Good thing they like each other!

Sunday, Taylor wanted to take me on a walk

Then I tried a new recipe of Parmesan Eggplant with an eggplant my coworker gave me

Tuesday, Taylor and I went to lunch where he works since we had the morning together before his school.

And because Oakey was so funny last night....
"Look, Mom!  I'm a gecko spy!"

Hanging by one leg!  She's so strong and clingy

Canada Thanksgiving

Tuesday, we went to Wheeler Farm on a date and then to the new movie Gravity in 3D.

After watching the spinning-around-space movie in 3D we were both nauseous and dizzy:

Tuesday night for a belated Canadian Thanksgiving we made a Jigs Dinner.
Pretty much everything is mashed: turnips, potatoes, pease pudding.  We omitted the mashed carrots

Oct 12 - Oct 14

We wanted to re-live the past October when we first started dating and decided to go to Gardner Village on a little date night.
Pretty leaves Taylor picked for me in leu of flowers ;)
This is funny because it reminds Taylor of HS when I asked him if he wanted a fry and he wanted to kiss me.

We picked up Ranger from the vet on the way home and watched Nightmare Before Christmas since I've never seen it before and Taylor loved doing clay animation when he was younger.

On Sunday we went on a Fall drive up Emigration Canyon.
Then stopped for dinner at my parents and a game of Scrabble.

Monday, Taylor came to my work and brought me lunch.  Then, I headed home early and we made dinner for my parents and took them to Gilgal Garden.  I also showed my parents where I work and we ate some chocolates across the street.

Oct 4th - Oct 10th

October 4th we went on a date to Taylor's Halifax, Canada mission reunion.

And during the weekend we got new tires for my jeep, got a TV and a blu-ray, and I also got to visit with some family that came up for General Conference while Taylor was at Priesthood session on Saturday.
Drinking dirty diet cokes made by my Aunt Lauri
Aunt Lauri making the drinks.  Haha, this picture was when the drink almost over flowed and I got it just in time

On Sunday we watched Conference on our new TV and Taylor made me a starburst ring

And poor Ranger we had to take to the vet on Tuesday, so Taylor made a to-go house with a toilet paper roll and duct tape for him to live in temporarily.

After I dropped off Ranger, I went to lunch and got a free car wash with my Mom.

And I kinda hate not having a dish washing machine.....I come home to this.  Taylor likes to do dishes luckily, but doesn't always have time.  So when we are always cooking, but neither of us have time to do dishes, this is what our small kitchen looks like.

Also,  I thought this was funny. At work I went on a walk and saw how close someone parked to me.
There's just a millimeter in-between
