Christmas Time, is Here!!!!!!!!

On Christmas Eve I worked half a shift, and then Taylor and I celebrated Christmas Eve by going to Christmas Street and the Bible Story Street in SLC!

We woke up to snow on Christmas!  6 inches!  We hadn't gotten any snow all December!

Taylor made apple-top pancakes and hash browns.
Fishy wanted some, but didn't get any...
Then we opened presents and worked out!

Followed by removing all that snow from our car so we could head to SoJo.

We had lunch at the Drake Home and opened presents.  We got our nice camera!

Also, Grandma Shepherd made this cute nativity;  300 hours of hard work!

Then we went to the Justice Home and had home-made Cafe Rio chicken salad after we helped Mom Justice make 3 T-Rings.

Carlie and Seth flew in from Dallas the day after Christmas.  So we waited to open presents with them.
Then we had a Jensen Family Party.

On Sunday we took some family photos in the snow since we finally had Seth over!

And our most favorite....
Taylor's never been rejected before...it hurt him a little...

Finals, Finished, Festivities

Taylor finished his finals!

We celebrated by playing nerf wars! Even Tannin joined in:
"What the...?"

*Scared*

"I can't believe you guys."
I"m done with this game.  I just want to eat and sleep.
I made a statue of Jesus with little children, with my mom

Now that Taylor is done with this semester, we started watching this TV show "The Normal Life of Gortimor Gibbons."
This little kid's last name is Justice, but he looks like a tiny Taylor!
The story follows these 3 friends.

Taylor likes to do things big.  You know, go big or go home.  So he made these babies for the Drake Family Christmas party in West Point.

 Ogden Christmas Village

Our cute stockings are hung!

Mom Drake put our names on them for us.

We had a Christmas dinner at Grandma and Bill Shepherd.  Grandma made us this nice Christmas towel.

Tantrums, New Skills, and Music

We had to renovate Tannin's cage last week to completely stick her cork crawling wall against the glass cage.  Used some cement-like glue.

To do so, we had to let the wall set for 24 hours, so we put Tannin in a smaller cage....
And that's when Tannin learned how to throw a tantrum...
"It's...So...SMALL!!!!"
Seriously, look how she pouts.  I guess Santa's not bringing her a present.
She was so happy when it was done setting.  She loves climbing her sturdy wall!
 And asking to play.

Thanks, Mom and Dad!

We enjoyed dinner at Gpa Luzitano's and Terry's.  We decorated their tree and made ornaments with some of Terry's grandkids.  Then during dinner, the tree fell on one of the little kids b/c we decorated the front too much...
No one was hurt in the making of these ornaments.
Ornament on the left is a sick Santa after Rudolph flew through  turbulence...
Tannin hit a big milestone at 10 months:  learning to walk!  ...On the roof!
The roof is mesh metal and she learned she could grasp it with her claws.
She did fall a few times....Taylor got an action shot when he was trying to take a picture of her on the ceiling....
Geronimo!
Also, take note, falling a few times did NOT deter Tannin from doing it again and again...
Here she is while we were eating dinner....
Whatctha doin'?  Oh, you know, just hanging out....
We decided to go shopping together for each other's Christmas gifts, and Taylor became distracted, and found 2 nerf guns!  So this happened....Spy Wars!!

He was lucky.  Just a few more inches...
We went to Peter and the Star Catcher play at Pioneer Theatre.
We were supposed to show up an hour early for Tay's free tickets. So we ate a Toblerone while waiting.
Sunday morning we went to Music & the Spoken Word featuring the MoTab and Sesame Street Muppets.
And in other news, this tree looks weird.
They were coveted tickets!  Luckily my parents got some for us!
