After our few days at Zion's National Park, we went down to visit my grandparents at Lake Powell.
Here are the highlights:
Our RV hotel in my grandparent's yard
Hello little hummingbird!
My Grandma found a hummingbird on the ground |
So of course Taylor wanted to take care of it and we made it a habitat in a shoe box lid |
Feeding it hummingbird syrup through a dropper |
Look how cuuute! |
Boating
Taylor's "first time boating" |
Taylor on the hot dog behind the boat after I fell off. What a view! (Him and the rocks...) |
Us on the hotdog |
Jet skiing
Taylor's first time jet skiing....He was so scared at first! By the end he was speeding across the waves and doing sharp turns because I would giggle behind him. |
Doesn't Taylor look so scared in this picture? Haha |
Rock jumping
Lone Rock rock jumping....Taylor's first rock jumping experience |
Oh Taylor....it's only 2 feet, don't be so nervous! |
We found some good ledges with clear water underneath later that day so Taylor did his first real jump from 8 feet up! Of course my mom did front and back flips off them... |
And then he did the 20 footer with me! |

What a cute little love nest! That trailer was perfect for you two! It was fun nursing the hummingbird back to health with you guys. So cute! I am glad Taylor overcame his fears! That is funny that he would eventually become a speed demon on the jet skis, and he eventually went off a 30-40 foot cliff! Woah doggie! Way to go! I'm impressed! You both were fearless repelling in Zion's as well. You two are just a bunch of hotdogs! Love it! Love ya! Mom
