Lake Powell (August 15th-17th)

After our few days at Zion's National Park, we went down to visit my grandparents at Lake Powell.
Here are the highlights:

Our RV hotel in my grandparent's yard

Hello little hummingbird!
My Grandma found a hummingbird on the ground
So of course Taylor wanted to take care of it and we made it a habitat in a shoe box lid
Feeding it hummingbird syrup through a dropper
Look how cuuute!

Boating
Taylor's "first time boating"
Taylor on the hot dog behind the boat after I fell off.  What a view! (Him and the rocks...)
Us on the hotdog

Jet skiing
Taylor's first time jet skiing....He was so scared at first!  By the end he was speeding across the waves and doing sharp turns because I would giggle behind him.
Doesn't Taylor look so scared in this picture?  Haha

Rock jumping
Lone Rock rock jumping....Taylor's first rock jumping experience

Oh Taylor....it's only 2 feet, don't be so nervous!

We found some good ledges with clear water underneath later that day so Taylor did his first real jump from 8 feet up!  Of course my mom did front and back flips off them...
And then he did the 20 footer with me!

What a cute little love nest! That trailer was perfect for you two! It was fun nursing the hummingbird back to health with you guys. So cute! I am glad Taylor overcame his fears! That is funny that he would eventually become a speed demon on the jet skis, and he eventually went off a 30-40 foot cliff! Woah doggie! Way to go! I'm impressed! You both were fearless repelling in Zion's as well. You two are just a bunch of hotdogs! Love it! Love ya! Mom
