I stubbed my toe Wednesday night and it hurts sooo bad! But at least I got to babysit! Don't worry little W kids, no one will ever replace you. It was sure fun to hold a bunch of babies on my lap again though. Oh for those days when the triplets were babies and I could carry all three up the stairs at once. Sweetie pies.

This photo cannot adequately capture the cuteness that are these babies |
Also, I made friends with a older gentleman named Cliff. He is almost 80 and has "that odd, new disease cancer." It was interesting to talk to him about how when he was younger nobody knew what cancer was and most people died from the flu or tuberculosis. I was like: "Yes! I learned about this in my classes! I'm a nurse! You remind me of all my veteran patients! I love you!" What I actually said was: "Yeah, it has really changed. It was so great talking with you! Have a wonderful day!" I decided that if I said I love you to him, he might think I was a super weird Mormon. Yes, he knows I'm a Mormon. Utah! Lime jello! Brigham Young!

As does Jesus.... :) |
Thursday, Thursday, Thursday. I really need to write my church talk today. It's about the "Ministry of Angels" by Jeffrey R. Holland from October 2008. SUCH a good talk! I still remember when he first gave it! It's so hard to write talks though! I feel like I've written most of it, I just need to organize it. <--I wrote this on Thursday. The talk is now done! I'm excited!
It finally Friday! Woohoo! Except I still haven't got my authorization to test and take the NCLEX! Every morning I have this dream that I'll finally be able to sign up and take it and I jump out of bed all excited and check my email on my phone and.............Boo. Sometimes it makes me want to cry. I usually feel discouraged and dread studying more for the NCLEX so I bury my woes in making awesome breakfasts.
Check out my deluxe spinach and tomato cheese omelette.

MMMM Hot dang! |
I also got to go to the temple today and it was DEAD. But don't worry, I baptize the dead. Hahaha, okay this is a horrible joke. But the whole room was dark and I had to wait 30 minutes for people to come. I was pretty happy about it though. Also, the service missionary was pretty excited to get to do a lot of names with me. It was all my peeps from Hungary.
Tonight I planned a party so that will be fun.
Until the next blog!
