Early Thanksgiving with Carlie

The finished fondant cake!  I probably ate half of it by myself because it was so good!  And I was excited Carlie and my grandparents got to see it and try it too!  Our theme was fall time and since it was snowing all that week, we made a snowman!

Carlie, Mom and I had so much fun baking and cooking to get ready for our early Thanksgiving feast.
Me, Mom, Carlie
Baking time!

And the whole week it was so snowy and cold!
View from our front windows of the mountains
There was a rather hilarious moment in the kitchen when we realized Taylor should not cook and only be allowed to clean dishes because he broke an egg all over the kitchen trying to show us one of his missionary tricks.  The egg got on my whole arm, the counters, the floor, and all over Taylor's shirt and face.  The rest of the night he spent in one of my Dad's shirts, haha.

Family Dinner!

After the feast we gathered round the piano and sang songs.
Dad and Taylor had fun singing tons of old songs.  It was hilarious.
This picture is hilarious because of my pose.  "Oh, Taylor!  Always serenade me!"

This time I did not get wet

Making pie, making bread

Eating Sushi with new people
Rainbow sushi!
Gardner Village
There's a cat in my skirt!
Eating fudge, finding flamingos, looking at lights
Walking around the U in Halloween garb
And of course, new dark green pants!
Making a Thai Cucumber Salad for a Thai dinner with Provo friends and one Ute friend....oh Taylor
Eating an apple and accidentally biting it into the shape of a star
Babysitting adventures of the glow in the dark kind....
...And the running over a water balloon on your bike or skateboard kind
Will running over his green water balloon
After JD ran over his pink water balloon and made a hole, he picked it up.....
And then began to chase me around trying to get me wet after I took this picture.  Haha!  But luckily my legs are longer than his, therefore I did not get wet this time...until the next time J-Dizzle....
Taylor made this lovely, healthy breakfast
Whole wheat pancakes with apples on top, scrambled eggs and yellow pepper
And the most important part of breakfast.......DESSERT!
Rainbow cupcake!!  But yeah, Taylor's mom made the cool cupcakes.  He's not so good with the baking treats if you remember the last blog

Plays, parks, pants that are wet

This is the finished paper swan habitat Sav and I made.
Lilly pads and fishes
Sav's 3D nest
Also, here's a pic of me picking up the kiddos from school the past week.  They all had fun racing to my car and telling me about their day at school--usually all 4 at the same time--making it difficult to discern either of them.

The kids had fun acting out their play they made up.  It's a story about me being a babysitter and my 2 goals in life are:  a) becoming an awesome babysitter for triplets boys and their older sister and b) becoming a nurse.  Haha, how did they know???

There was also some water balloon jumping on the tramp...hence me being soaked.  So yes, I can control my bladder

And of course face painting
Will... Go Jazz!
Over the weekend I tried my hand at making vegan cupcakes with my friend Taylor--who by the way, totally loved wearing a girly apron
And Savannah loved the end result!  Poor girl can't have dairy or eggs so it was her first time having cupcakes for a while!
There might have been some batter on his face after he got batter on me....I don't get mad, I get even
Savannah!!
Sunday came round and I went to church to visit some new wardies

On Monday I played at the park with the kiddos

I had to get a filling replaced by the dentist so I spent today with half my face numb.
Goodbye pirate silver filling!
I also got a cyst on my eyelid removed.
The removal scared me so badly because it was near my eyes with a needle and scissors
This is a bad before pic since you can't see it...yes this pic should be before the other one
All gone but swollen the rest of the day
My Mom and I have been enjoying going on morning walks together in the neighborhood and saw a rainbow!

Mom and I also made a Dutch apple pie that cooks in a brown paper bag....weird but yummy

And hey!  Look who got her Utah nursing license???

Fuzzy wuzzy

Wednesday night instead of going to the gym I blasted Beethoven and did some ballet dance moves.
Here is my shadow.  See the ballet pose?  I don't know the legit names but it was super fun and quite a work out

Thursday night I got Thai food and a delicious cupcake with some friends

Friday I went to see na na na na na na na na..... Batman!  We waited in line for about 2 and a half hours.  But it was okay because I made my favorite dinner right before so my tummy was happy and ready to wait for a long time.
Ham and potato casserole
Saturday morning I did a service project where I stuffed bags full of papers with my friends Ahlin and Evan.
I also went for a nice 40 minute swim.  It's 108 degrees today so even though I put on tons of sunscreen I still got burned on my face and a little tan.

And I also realized I don't need a pet cat because I can buy a fluffy pillow to cuddle with it won't die on me when I have a long hospital shift.
In just 30 minutes I will be headed out to go wake boarding at this nifty place

Leap frogging

Thursday I made the tea rings recipe into cinnamon rolls.  Tasty.  However, I burned my hand pretty bad.  Had to put it in the freezer for a while because nothing else was cold enough!  Hot Texas!

Friday:
-Met with Cliff again on my way home from the gym
-Was told I was loved even though I was sweaty.  Yay smoking, friendly neighbors who compliment me!
-Wasted 1 hour and 40 minutes of my life watching an old movie I loved as a child.  It was just creepy and boring at age 22.

-Art block party with a bunch of friends!  There were probably 15 of us total.  We walked around all the museums for free and chit-chatted.  We also got to go through the knitted tunnel again!

Hallway of 1000 cranes
Valentina, Lacy, Melissa, Me
And I did leap frog!  It was great.

Saturday:
Babysat with Carlie and fed the ducks, pigeons, turtles, and fish
 Such a stinkin' cutie pie!
Worked out and cleaned the apartment
Six Flags tonight!!!
