I Will Wait for You

Isn't that such a great song?  It's been stuck in my head all week, except for the moments when Taylor is serenading me, then I'm just thinking about his songs.

I got a job!  Med/Surg (dream job for becoming a Hospice nurse)!  Here's all my supplies laid out for my interview.
And on the day of my interview it snowed! Cray cray!

And check out these awesome pumpkins Taylor and I made of each other.  I guess you can tell Taylor draws lots of cartoons....and I don't usually draw anything.

 And during babysitting........
Will colored his hands black and then......
Proceeded to act like a monster and attack Paxton
Later that day we had races down the hill (Will, JD, Pax)
Who will win???
And Saturday brought on a busy day of crafting with my Mom

And picnic eating
Taylor even brought a table cloth and candles!
And look at this wonderful tomato basil soup he made!
And it all happened in a nice little garden area
Later that evening I played tons of board games with some teenagers I babysit occasionally
Pirateology!  How to be a real pirate!
And then my Mom and I watched old family videos.  This is a video of some song I had composed when I was 13 and I no longer remember it!  But it sounded so cool!
And this whole past week there's been lots of mother-daughter walks around the neighborhood
Tree and mountain view on our walks

And some snuggling with this warm monkey that smells like lavender

Also, look at this nice night guard I got so I stop clenching my teeth
Great pic right?
And lots of praying for the New Yorkers, especially my Dad and aunt and cousin.

I can't listen to the song at work so hopefully I remember tonight. Who are the teenagers you babysit? Looks like Taylor is a good cook! What is this warm monkey?

You rocked the interview...not even a snow storm in October could stop you! Please be careful driving to your new nursing job in West Valley City. You will have plenty more snow coming in the next few months so be like the turtle, and go slow so mamason doesn't worry about her favorite nurse! The photos of the boys are cute! They are very happy to be around you...see their huge smiles? Those kids will always remember you and Carlie...you made their childhood a non-stop adventure! You girls are going to be the best Moms ever! Too bad you forgot to take a pic of all the crafts we made...I especially like the block Christmas tree. Your having the Salt Lake Temple on the other craft makes me hopeful you decide to get married there. I have always loved that Temple...definitely the icon and the recognized symbol of our LDS faith. I also love that your Great, great, great, great Grandpa Brigham Young commissioned that beautiful temple and oversaw its erection over 40 years. That picnic with Taylor looks delicious! We may want to get that recipe with all the tomatoes we grow in our garden. Those games you play with Alex look challenging! How fun you can be there for him! You are so good with people, even those with special needs. The Nelsons and Keith and Shelley are happy you can help them out. You are so loving and sensitive to their needs. Watching that family video was fun! We actually had video of several compositions you no longer remember, but they were amazing too. At least we have the recording of this one. I enjoy our walks together. It is beautiful fall weather right now...one of my favorite times of the year in Utah. Spring and Fall are gorgeous here! Some man from our ward (Ryan Loveland) came to our house last night with his child and said our yard is beautiful! I love all the flowers and everything about it. Dad did all the planning and landscape rendition of it when I was in the hospital. I did say I wanted all those fruit trees, but unfortunately we didn't get honeycrisp or fuji apples. Our cherries and apples are too tart for me! The piano kids love that stuff though. Next year we can make more apple pies and apple crisp like we did for the R.S. Meet and Greet party where we made the brown bag pie (dutch apple). Yum! That lavender monkey is cute! What a thoughtful gift from Taylor. Sweet dreams! :) I hope the mouth guards help you. Please wear your retainers on alternate evenings so you keep your beautiful smile. It's also interesting that you posted the New York weather shown on your iphone. We will never forget how Dad was stranded in New York with Sandy 1 and Sandy 2...ha ha What are the odds of Sandra witnessing Sandy like she did. Cray cray as you say! ha ha Thanks for blogging again! I love you girls' blogs! You are both such wonderful writers! You have always been diligent about journaling and stuff too! What a treasure you have! Looking forward to another great week! Love you Sunshine Girl! Mom
