I am, indeed, a dweeb

Friday  night I went to the world's largest honky tonk in Fort Worth.  If you are wondering what a honky tonk is, it is a cheap, noisy bar or dance hall (according the the first definition that popped up on my internet search).  It was pretty fun.  I danced quite a lot.  Also, there was some bull riding.  One of the clowns got trampled which was disgusting to watch but he got up afterwards luckily.
Saturday I planned a brunch with my friend Andrew.  A lot of people came and we had waffles and pancakes and lots of other yummy food.

I've been studying like nuts all weekend, in between all my party endeavors.
Go me!  I'm a nerd!
I also cleaned the apartment on Saturday and then went to Korean Kareoke!

At this point of my blog, I'd like to mention I got 100% on my solo to Cher "Do you believe in life after love?" Also, I was the highlight of the evening with my mad dance skills.  Haha, jk.  My friend Branden was.  He can drop it.
Gettin' my groove on

This is Branden.  Lacy and me are his back up dancers, but let's get real, he don't need no back up dancers!

Thanks for all these super embarrassing photos, Alexiss!  I love having physical proof that I am, indeed, a dweeb.
Sunday I made my new favorite dish:  Spinach with apples and almonds salad.
Delish!  Even more delish because I ate it in the little fort my sister and her husband made and left up over night.
Yes, I was alone in this fort, but it was still fun.
Then of course on Sunday I also went to church and FHE.

So it's Monday and my throat is still sore from singing all those songs on Saturday night.  I think it didn't help that I was talking a lot on Sunday either.  I woke up early this morning and drove to where I will be taking my NCLEX.  Luckily I did because I saved some poor girl looking for the room who didn't know where it was.  There was a test going on this morning too and she was part of it.  I could tell she was frazzled so I guess it was good timing on my part to be super prepared.  (I always go to places before I have to go there for something big like a test or a clinical shift.)

I have been studying tons this morning, but I still managed to take a nap.  It was so cold I had to get a blanket out!  Weird!  Dallas....cold???? :/
Also, my sister made waffles last night and I got some leftover ones since I was at FHE.
KELSEY  Here yo' waffles  Aint got No Frieds Chicken
Hahahah, yes, my family IS that awesome.
