Chicken fights and chicken bites

Finally Carlie and I got to make dinner together!  Homemade mac and cheese please!
It was also our first time cooking asparagus thanks to Seth who looked up the recipe on pinterest.

Friday night I went to a park with some people in my ward and then tye-dyed some socks with Shana, Ed, Valentina, Melissa, and Rebecca.  It was called cholo-fest because Ed was the only guy with a bunch of ladies.  Workin' it, cholo!

I made carrot cake for my friends that night and it. was. delicious!

Saturday morning I woke up and headed over to the lake for a huge YSA activity.  I only had an hour there to play some water Frisbee and try to chicken fight on a floating rope before I had to head back to Dallas and go boating with a different bunch of people.

Oh, and remind me, never to follow my friend Mike B. when he is driving.  Seriously, some people are crazy drivers.

So I took a bunch of people home and then Evan and I went to Ross's where they were waiting for us to come boating.  I was pretty exhausted by this time having been in the sun for a long time and the car for even longer, but it was still fun to dance.

I danced in the backseat of the car.
I danced on the back of the boat.
I danced while wake surfing.
I danced in the front of the boat.
I danced in the front seat of the car.
I danced while eating chicken and waffles....I didn't realize I was dancing in my seat and once I did I stopped.

So yesterday was my first day learning how to wake board and wake surf.  Pretty cool.  Thanks to my friends Josh and Ross.
It was also the first time in my life that I ate chicken and waffles.....Mmm that WON'T be the last time
