No place like home

Things I love about being home:
-Yelling down the stairs or up the stairs at my Mom:  "I love you Mommasan!"
-Getting hugs from my parents
-My Dad constantly telling me he's proud of me
-My bedroom.....there's no place like home
-Neighborhood walks
-Working out down in the basement while watching movies (Oliver and Company, Jurassic Park!)
-Baking in a huge kitchen
-A bathroom that doesn't get too steamy when I shower

Things I'll miss from this week:
-Spending time with my shadow Rikki
-Teaching Rikki how to ride a scooter
-Seeing my grandparents
-Hanging out with Ali B!

Long weekend

So it's been a while since I've blogged and a lot has happened.  Here are some cool things:

These are some shoes I've been wearing since 9th grade!  What a lovely pair of shoes to last so long and still look cute!

5 stars!  I'm a pro dancer at Just Dance 3!  Hollar!

I washed my car.  Sparkly clean!

Nuff said.

And last Wednesday was my friend Ahlin's birthday and we got some Thai food and chocolate cake!

Then Friday I packed for Utah and got some frozen yogurt with some girl friends.

I was hanging out with my cousin Rikki.  We are top knot bun cousins.  She also likes to keep me up at night haha.

We had to get some balloons for the party.  This balloon broke.  I tired to suck up the helium with Rikki but our voices didn't change that much.  Boo

Sunday:

Went to my friend Taylor's homecoming!  Exciting!  It's fun to see old friends again!

As a extended family we had a fireside and then went to one of my cousin's baby blessings.

Monday:

Went boating!  Tried to ski with just one ski!

Went to a play with the grandparents and Rikki

After the play, we went and saw the W kids!  So fun!

Tuesday:

This is my Aunt Rachel and Aunt Sherri's family who went with us on a hike!

Monday I woke up and called the Texas BON for our biweekly little phone chat which mostly entails me hitting 0 over and over again in order to get a hold of them.  Luckily, Carlie made me feel better with this little note and some leftover crepes!

Carlie and I then headed out to Allen to get some pizza and sipping chocolate with the Razzle Dazzles

We also stopped at Charming Charlie's where I found the love of my life:

And I was definitely tempted to buy a cat necklace in order to curb my desire to buy a real cat....hairless of course.

 Haha, so I guess this little cat necklace above is definitely NOT hairless!

And JD, I almost bought this bracelet for your Mom because I knew you'd love it.  I'm sorry it's not pink :)

Today was Tuesday and I picked someone up from the airport and then went to a park to shoot a little video thing for one of my girl friends who is kinda a big deal at the MTC.  It was also incredibly windy and I did not study for the NCLEX AT ALL.  I figured I deserved a break.

I guess I should go to sleep now.  I can't wait until I'm in SoJo again this weekend.

Six flags was great Saturday night!  I went with Mike B., Edward, and Alexiss

Afterwards we got some In-N-Out which was delicious.  We are always so hungry after waiting in long lines.

Sunday was church, some relaxing time by myself, and then FHE!

My car got stuck between two silver trucks while I was at FHE in Mesquite.  I spent 15 minutes talking to the neighbors and knocking doors to find the owners of the cars so I could get out.  It was actually the first people I talked to who were drunk and wouldn't open the door for me.  I am very scarey looking so I don't blame them for not opening the door when they talked to me.

At first I thought both the cars were touching my bumper.  Luckily, it was a tiny bit away.

See my scarey blonde hair with a bow?  Aggression is written all over me.  Especially since I'm mostly wearing white clothing too.  That's what thugs wear these days.

Leap frogging

Thursday I made the tea rings recipe into cinnamon rolls.  Tasty.  However, I burned my hand pretty bad.  Had to put it in the freezer for a while because nothing else was cold enough!  Hot Texas!

Friday:
-Met with Cliff again on my way home from the gym
-Was told I was loved even though I was sweaty.  Yay smoking, friendly neighbors who compliment me!
-Wasted 1 hour and 40 minutes of my life watching an old movie I loved as a child.  It was just creepy and boring at age 22.

-Art block party with a bunch of friends!  There were probably 15 of us total.  We walked around all the museums for free and chit-chatted.  We also got to go through the knitted tunnel again!

Saturday:
Babysat with Carlie and fed the ducks, pigeons, turtles, and fish
