Memories are golden/yellow

Which do I prefer?

Walks together in the snow
Or walks alone in the snow after work

Hmmm....

We brought back some memories Sunday night when Taylor played French horn in an orchestra put together by our church

We still even talked the whole time even though I was in the audience

Remember these?
Ignoring Taylor in Pep Band
Finally....Taylor stopped talking for a moment...
Prom 2008.  Yellow flower!
Eating lunch after swimming in the ocean where Taylor saved my life!  Those undercurrent pull you!  Who knew  5 years later they'd pull me back to Taylor
Taylor making fun of me taking flamingo pictures
And Taylor redeems himself
Shark teeth.  What a nice smile!
Look at the killer whales do tricks!  Or look at a bunch of pictures we take of ourselves in the back of the auditorium more likely
Rawr, Taylor always wanted to be a BYU cougar
This is when I taught Taylor the Edward stare for his benefit with the ladies....5 years later it still works on me

And for being such a good girlfriend, Taylor gave me this after the concert.  Awww!

Ensign Peak

In pictures:
We show up
We take a picture of the sign to remind us of what it is we are taking a bunch of pictures of
We goof off
For a while......
Ah, so sweet!
The path we took
The scenery
Walking through the scenery
La Vista!
Hike finished....Ensign Peak

And then, because hiking makes you hungry, we ate at Zupas!

And then Taylor performed on his ukulele for our ward

La Vida Bonita

!Yo quiero mi novio las besa ahora aqui!

Haha, who knows what I said?  I've been speaking Spanish with my patients at the hospital so much lately.  I can comprende un poco and no mas.  Sometimes it really frustrating.  Especially when I give medicinas the patients haven't gotten before and don't know how to describe in my lousy Spanglish what the medicina does.  My goal is to get better.

My feet hurt so bad right now.  I worked four 12 shifts close together:  Sat, Mon, Tues, and Wed.  The shifts usually are 13 hours.  Tues and Wed were nuts!  Luckily, my Mom packed my lunch and put in a little snacky snack.....Cupcakes!
Tuesday's treat (Notice my super chapped hands? Yep, having C Diff patients will do that to you)
Today's treat....red velvet cupcake that matched my red velvet scrubs.
Best part of the past few days?
Spending time with this guy....who wears super bright colored shirts.  And yes, this one says SHINE.  The lime green truly shined.

3 little lemony ducks

Saturday night my parents, Taylor, and I all went to In-N-Out and celebrated finishing our burgers with a strawberry shake from Chick-Fil-A.
Christmas burger wrapper!

We also went on a tractor hay ride and sang Christmas carols to people

Sunday after church, Taylor and I spent the day finishing our gingerbread house
Putting the gingerbread dough we made into the pan.  PS look at those Taylor hands....so sexy....they should always hold mine.
Cutting the rolled out dough into house shapes
This is what we will put the gingerbread house on.  We poked out holes and put lights through so the house would shine.
Inside the house will be a Christmas tree and 3 presents!
Before we added the "snow"
The bridge!  Pre-snow
All lit up
Here's a window....let's take a peek through it....
And inside you can see the tree and presents!
The river and bridge.   Plus 3 little yellow ducks in the pond for Taylor to love

Tuesday night after my shift, I went over to Taylor's and we walked around the neighborhood and looked at all the Christmas lights.  We always call on days we can't see each other, but sometimes, I just need a kiss and a hug and you can't get those over the phone!  And Taylor is always willing to give me those!

Welcome to your fairy tale.....

Where there is:

Work breaks where you can put your feet up

Picnic-ing in the backyard

Making Christmas cookies

Long phone conversations that deplete your phone battery

Strolling through parks and neighborhoods

Visiting church history sites
Taylor is always so excited about church history
This is the Place
There were little shops all over the plaza

Showing your boyfriend your favorite song and him breaking out his ukulele to learn the song for you while you stop at a stoplight

And building the tallest Jenga tower ever with Riley and Alex!

The title for this blog comes from a joke Taylor said to me earlier this week.
