The first Saturday in December, Dec 3rd, Taylor and I helped put on our ward christmas party. We were in charge of the main food (pancakes and ham). Taylor was nice to me and let me rest most the time while he did all the cooking and cleaning up afterwards.
I got my varicose vein on the back of my left knee checked for blood clots just because it's been hurting a ton more now that I'm pregnant, and my doc wanted me to double check everything was okay.
After the ward christmas party, we went and saw Ballet West Nutcracker.
You can see my ted hose in the picture b/c I now wear ted hose constantly to help the vein pain. |
Sexy man in a bow tie!
After the Nutcracker we had fun looking at the Macy's Windows.

The following day on Sunday, we made our annual gingerbread house with the Drake family!
I know, I know...it's adorable.
And we got free pants from Amazon due to a mixed up order, and they let us keep them!
6 months pregnant on Tuesday Dec 6th!
We had fun going to the White Christmas play that evening.
And because I've worked until 8 pm on a couple days this week Taylor has been spoiling me and got me a present to open before dinner.
It was what I always wanted! A hippopotamus for Christmas!
A neighbor donated all their baby girl clothes to us from 0-18months!
We organized the clothes by ages. They filled four big garbage bags full!
Let's just say we probably won't be going clothes shopping for the first two years.
Also, it was time for a hair change, so I donated my hair and got a new style!
It's also been nice to begin to feel better so that I can finally lift some light weights again!
We had to buy some maternity work out clothes though!
And Thursday night we decided to go on impromptu date after my hair cut and work out to downtown SLC! We had fun getting burgers and then seeing the SLC temple lights!
And we love wandering around the Grand America to see their gingerbread house and Christmas windows!
It's tempting to eat all 2,000 pounds of it! |
And Christmas came early for Tannin this year, she got her own home-made window spot perch so she can enjoy looking out the windows again and not fall off the ledge. Haha! Goober...

December is off to a good start! I am glad you didn't cut off all your beautiful hair! You can straighten it to have a bob look too. Hopefully you can still pull it back in a messy bun or a French braid. How do you like it? I guess it is fun to change it up sometimes. Have fun at the party tonight! Love you guys! Mom
Fun to read your Christmas activities. Don't work so hard. Love, Dad
