Dinners and Parties

Tannin experienced snow in April!  She had so much fun following the snowflakes' lazy fall until a snowflake plopped right on top of her head like a hat.
She's so mad at that snowflake!  "If I close my eyes, it won't know I'm here and it will leave."
I've been having fun spending lots of time with my parents.  I made them Taylor's Paprika Rosemary Chicken recipe he made up.
It's looking at me...

And then I come home to fresh flower Taylor picked on his run in the mountains.

Last Sunday, I took my Dad to the airport so Mom, Taylor and I made cookies and Soy Lasagna.
Mom in her new, cute, colorful work out clothes.

Taylor helping me create a new recipe for Soy Lasagna.
Soy Lasagna!  Vegan except for meat...haha!  It was super delicious!

On Monday night to Tuesday I had a sleepover with my Mom.  We had lots of fun and I prepared Black Bean Quinoa Lime Salad for her to try.

And Taylor and I got a new mattress!  Oh my gosh!  I love it!  I  never thought I could wake up so refreshed and without pain!

We had a fun piano recital with my Mom and her students.  I played Cinderella Waltz for the kids.  Then we stopped off at the Drake Parents and had fun talking for a little while.
Sunday night we will have Grandma Yvette and Grandpa Jack over for dinner with my parents as well.

That was a fun review of the last week or two you and Taylor have enjoyed. We sure enjoyed eating at your place with Grandma and Grandpa Gritton. The Cinderella Waltz was beautiful too! I am glad you were able to inspire the kids and show how practice makes perfect and how they can use arpeggios to compose some songs too. We sure have loved having you play music all these years at home. It is such a joy to hear you play music. Thanks again for being there at the hospital today. We sure appreciate your love and support. You are a wonderful and loving daughter and friend! Love you! Mom
