I love coming home from a stressful day at work, because right as I walk through the front door, I burst out laughing. Tannin, you are so funny sometimes!
Someone was so dejected while Mom and Dad were gone ALL DAY working instead of paying attention to her.
Right after I took this picture, she got super excited and scratched forever at the glass until I let her out to play.
I've been enjoying spending Saturdays with my parents since Taylor studies from 6 am to 5 pm.
Here we are going to my favorite burger place!
Playing piano songs together.
Enjoying Razzle-Dazzle Crepes. Also, I like this picture b/c I think I look so much like my dad!
For Easter Weekend, Taylor and I tye-dyed eggs!
It was fun to do something a little different than the conventional coloring.
And we ate them all....
Egg massacre.
Egg massacre.
Pretty trash. |
Taylor bought me a pretty Easter azalea tree.
Tannin "chose the right" and watched conference with us....while eating carpet. Her, not us. I prefer different fiber(s).
Represent lil lizard! |
Toad in the hole with Canadian bacon for Sunday Conference breakfast!

I think that CTR ring on Tannin's tail is so cute! We have been having fun giving CTR rings to some of the kids in the neighborhood, LDS or not. The neighbors in the cul de sac seemed to really like the rings that you can connect with fist bumps for Jesus Power! I know Markus and Mads like it...the two cute little boys from Denmark. So cool! I am getting 30 CTR rings for Carlie to give to her students. She can encourage them to remember to make right choices. She won't be able to say Jesus Power choices due to public school policy (I got reprimanded at school for just having a journal entry in my desk that said that I can see how God loves all His children because I feel that way about all my students.) Carlie can tell them the ring reminds them to choose the RIGHT way. I can't wait to see how the kids react to her gift when she gives them the rings. So fun and so influential. Carlie helps so many people as a teacher like you help so many as a nurse and serve so many people even outside of the hospital settings. You do look like Dad and me both. Lucky for you, you seemed to have gotten all the best qualities from both of us! Lucky Duck! ---or should I day "Drake!" :) I love reading about our tales of Tannin and his personality! You guys are so funny! Love the play by play comments! Ha ha! Thanks for helping me through this yucky stuff with my illness. You are very kind and wise. I know you just want to see me get well so we can enjoy being together, especially for next weekend when we have the recital. Grandma Yvette and Grandpa Jack are coming! Grandpa Paul and Grandma Carie will be here for a few days, but miss the recital that is later. Their temple ground breaking is the same day as the recital. Oh well! At least you can play a song or two for them! :) Love you both! Mom
Tannin must be growing on me because I enjoyed the pictures and funny posts. Glad you can enjoy the little enjoyment so far life. Love dad.
