It was a rough week at work, but I got a lot of things done, so I didn't have to worry about work things while at home.
I've been going to more physical therapy for my neck and face.
Got a toothache fixed Thursday.
I hate having a numb face for so long afterwards. |
After that, we quickly ran over to Murray for a couple pic.
It was a weird day because I was half numb on one side of my face, and Taylor had bad lactose sickness. But the pics turned out cute!
That night we found a hobo spider on Taylor's pillow as we were going to bed...
Nope! Didn't sleep well. |
And on Friday morning little Bubba (Bubbles!) died. Sad. But thus is the life of a fishy...Short.
After work on Friday I went down to SoJo to make a Halloween craft with Michelle, Lorien, Vanella, and DeMarie.
My back hurt so bad all last week, so while in SoJo, I picked up an electric stem from my Dad, and used it right after I came home from the craft night.
I put it on right when I got home and laid on the floor with my many pillows under and between my legs. |
We did another tour of the SLC Cemetery on Saturday. We found some new saints.
First female doctor in Utah. |
Taylor telling stories. |
It looked like fall but felt like summer. |
Found the marker that commemorates the first saint to die in the valley (3 days after reaching it). |
We made some pizza with 2 different fake cheeses we found.
Daiya and SoySation |
The expensive cheese (left) we were told was best, but it was actually pretty gross. Yay for the cheaper "cheese" being our favorite! |
Carved us some pumpkins Saturday night.
It was my first time actually following a pattern! |
Sunday we sprayed for bugs with Seth's help from far away via phone.
And found (Taylor teased) 4 more hobos. |
Got our apartment ready for Halloween.
Ghost lights. I don't know why this pictures keeps turning sideways....spooky! |
Window Celebrations! |

Those jack-o-lanterns are so cool! Goes perfect with the adorable BOO decoration you made at Michelle's RS Craft Day. I didn't know you had a fish named Bubbles. Such a cute name! I guess it didn't live long enough to even get a photo taken. Ha ha! At least Tannin is thriving! Even on a leash! Ha ha! So glad you got those spiders sprayed. I am shocked to learn that their bite can be so deadly! Taylor had a close call for sure! Too bad the "fake" cheese is expensive and not so good. I am bummed for you too! Spaghetti might be a good replacement for manicotti though. That cemetery tour was so fun when I went last time. That is cool that you found the headstone for the very first female doctor and the first black man who held the priesthood, directly from Joseph Smith. Amazing! It was very interesting to see pics of you getting your therapy and your tooth fixed. I sure hope you can eliminate all the chronic pain you continue to suffer with every day. I am glad your cross to bear is not mental illness. We all have different challenges. I am glad I don't have daily pain. I couldn't handle it with grace like you do. I know you empathize and care so much for those around you. You have a big heart with lots of love and kindness to share. Thanks again for a fun day together! I loved spending time with you! Dad and I are glad you like to spend time with us, and we are grateful we have the means to help you out too. I hope that Costco's lactose pills and tumeric pills for inflammation that we bought for you guys today help. Have a great day tomorrow! Those costumes at tonight's party were sooooooo CUTE! I posted it on FB and had tons of likes in a short time. Nancy Reynolds even shared it! Fun! Love you! Mom
Don't forget to post your adorable costumes onto your blog sometime. I love how your blog is a journal for you, and it's a way to share your lives with us readers, too. It was fun to share a pic of you guys' costumes tonight on Facebook. Nancy Reynolds even "shared" that pic on FB too. That's quite the compliment!!! You guys blow me away! xoxo
Glad you had a fun Halloween! Those jack-o-lanterns are spooktacular...as Mom says. I think they are very creative! Love, Dad
