~At the beginning of the year on January 10th
Taylor proposed to me. I remember it so
well because it was right before my first night shift.
~We got married May 11th in the Salt Lake Temple
after what seemed like an eternity of waiting… 8 years! At least 8 years for Taylor and 8 months
for me. ;)
~We enjoyed a few days away for our Honeymoon…at
least when Taylor didn’t have to go to school and I didn’t have to work…
~In the middle of May, we moved into our apartment late at night, and the next few days I was working 14 hour
shifts while Taylor unpacked everything.
~June: We enjoyed
going to Yellowstone and camping together.
We visited my Jensen grandparents up in Wyoming on the way home.
~August: We did
our planned Honeymoon at Zion’s National Park and enjoyed rapelling down canyon
walls, and sometimes, even into water!
We went to a Justice family reunion on the way home at Lake Powel where
Taylor enjoyed his first time jet skiing and cliff jumping. I also switched jobs and started as an
infusion RN.
~September: We
didn’t enjoy Sept 21st when Jezza our gecko died. Since Taylor needs babies to take care of
besides plants, on Sept 27th we bought two gecko babies: Oakie and
Ranger.
~November: On the
14th, Ranger died after we tried everything to save him, including
hour-long syringe feedings. November 23rd
we had to put Oakie down as well after she got the same terminal disease as
Ranger (no thanks to the stupid Petco vet).
We adopted Smaug and Mango November 29th for free from Petco,
and both are healthy and happy.
~December: We’ve
been enjoying making Christmas crafts together, like a ceramic duck (drake) nativity,
a ceramic snow-globe, and new ornaments!
Taylor is a surgical technologist part time while
he goes to school full time.
Kelsey enjoys her new job sticking people with needles all day long. YAY! Together we love to cook for each other,
make crafts, and make out…I mean work out… J
Taylor
loves bringing Kelsey flowers, especially during summer and fall when they’d go
on mountain walks or Taylor walks home from school.
Meanwhile,
Kelsey tries to scrapbook their memories…there’s lots of flowers to preserve. Lots. J
