The Beginning!

Yes, that's right:  Taylor Drake!


1/10/13 This is the day I was to start working night shift.
I've never worked night shift before so I was really nervous and sad because I wouldn't be seeing Taylor for a while.
So, of course, when he asked if he could come over before I went to work I was super excited!
Taylor came over around 2:30 and was talking with my mom.
I wanted to go on a walk with Taylor since I was finally up and outside the hospital on a sunny day.
I was really happy to see Taylor and really happy that he was mine because he is always so sweet and thoughtful.  Even my mom told him before we left on our walk that he was such a good listener and made her feel like she was being heard.  Super sexy quality in a man!
So we went on our walk and it was way windy and super chilly outside.
We stopped at the park behind my parent's house where we had our first kiss and where I first tried to tell him I loved him and ended up crying.
We sat on the park bench and he pulled out a book he had made of our story.
I thought it was so cute I almost started crying because it made me so happy and I loved him so much.  Silly Taylor was thinking "just wait until the end....then she'll really be crying."
The whole time I didn't know Taylor was going to propose.  I thought he was gong to propose in a few weeks on a Sunday.
It came to the very last page of the book....Taylor turned the page and asked:  "So, Kelsey, Will you marry me?"
I started to cry as he pulled out the black box that had my ring.  Even Taylor started to cry.

All I could do was hug him.  I couldn't even answer I was crying and in shock and too busy hugging him.
I think I finally said yes.  Taylor put on the ring....perfect ring....everything I always wanted.
It still felt so surreal, but the whole time I wanted just to kiss Taylor until he had to leave at 4:30.
I was so sad to see him go because I wish I could've spent the whole rest of the day with him at his classes.

I went to work in really bad weather, but I really didn't care because I love Taylor.  I wore my ring around my neck just because I was so excited and wanted to bring my book he wrote to read and read and read but decided against it since I hate hospital germs.
I have been way slammed at work and haven't had much time to think about anything until 1:45 am.
It makes me want to cry I am so happy.  It feels so surreal, but when I really sit down and stare at my ring and think about it I am happy.

Taylor is my bestest friend and the only person I would ever want to marry.
He is perfect for me.  Everything I ever wanted and then some.  I can't believe it sometimes.  I can't believe how lucky I am to have someone like him.  I'm so glad Heavenly Father gave him to me.
