This is my Dad who got out a picnic table so he could snack on veggies and crackers while watching. We know how to live the good life.
My Mom and I made lemonhead cookies.
Recipe:
1/2 C butter
1 C sugar
(cream together butter and sugar)
1 egg
1/4 C milk
1 tsp lemon extract
(mix it all together)
2 and 1/4 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
(mix together)
3/4 C crushed lemonheads
Crush the lemonheads within their package inside a brown paper bag with a hammer. Grease the pans and roll the dough into balls. Smash down the dough with your palm. Bake 375 for 13 minutes (if you make small ones, cook if for less time).
Glaze the cookies while they are hot with:
1/2 C powdered sugar
1 tsp hot water
1 tsp lemon juice
IT'S SO GOOD! My mom made up the recipe
My mom has always made treats with me growing up. When my sister and I were little, we'd make our birthday cakes.
We'd make the pictures with M&Ms and sometimes skittles.
Taste the rainbow!
Also, randomly I remembered a song I made up when I was 11 that I had since forgotten. I can't remember what it's called though.

The video didn't open for me so maybe text it or email it to me. Also you and mom could've made that a secret recipe and started a famous cookie cafe. Your coworkers will probably like the cookies
It cut my comment short. But I liked the cakes mom made too. Commenting using iPhones is hard. Glad dad set up a snack station ha ha :)
Loved your blog! Glad you remembered that cute little song you made up a long time ago. That was fun making cookies with you! The photos were perfect to help a reader know how to make them. I like how you posted the General Conference web site too...brilliant! We are so lucky to be a gospel-centered family! Love you girl! Mom
