Sweet Bliss

Babysitting.......It's happening......AGAIN!

YEYEA!
I was so excited I get to pick the kids up from school so I made a CD we can sing along with in the car. And because I was feeling artsy I drew Arctic animals on it, haha.
The boys and Sav at their flag football game
JD wanted me to get a picture of him flying.  He's so fast now!

This picture is just the epitome of Pax and Will
Sav taught me how to fold swans and we are now working on a 3D lake for them!  To be continued this coming week...

But of course I still make time for people nearer my age:
Corn mazes with new wardies, and chocolate cake and a walk with  my old friend Taylor.  And yes, I wore both our jackets on the walk because it's so dang cold here in UT compared to TX.

Family weekend

Let the good times roll!
This is me, starting out my journey to the great Utah motherland of Mormons alone
But not before some good ole sister bonding!
Thankfully, my Mom was with me from Albuquerque onward.  And yes, of course we bought sunflower seeds.
 And hello cold Utah!
So cold, I'm wearing two sweaters....inside the house....but yes I realize I am wearing a seat belt in the picture....
Carlie flew up for the weekend in SLC.  These are pictures of us at a play

We also went hiking up in the mountains as a family
We found an icicle in the shape of a gun by the river...so we had fun with that
Putting my ice gun in my holister
Freeze, suckka!
And before Carlie left to go back to TX, we went to Zupas!

Road Trip! Shorty got low!

And now, to discuss the trip I took back up to Utah.
Both sunglasses broken just before the big trip
My bedroom was so empty afterwards.  The day I woke up to leave I was so sad because I already missed my sister so much-even though I had to end up stopping by her work to print off travel directions since my GPS decided to get all wacky.
I got lost quite a lot.
My tank over filled with gasoline a few times.
And traveling West when the sun is setting is really blinding and not at all cool when going through winding roads.
But thank Heavens for truck stops where one can take a quick 30 minute nap when Diet Coke is not nearby.
I also learned the song Low by Flo Rida really helps drowsiness if danced to every hour.

Before the Last Party in Dallas

The last couple weeks in Dallas, a lot was going on:
-Learning all about pole fitness from Annie and Lacy Friday night.  Lacy and Annie are ridiculously good.  Seriously, it's so much harder than you think to spin around a pole.  Notice all the bruises?  There's still all up and down my shins 2 weeks later.  The bruise on top of my foot hurt the worse.

The next day Carlie and I did an urban race in Dallas!  We were the Justice League!  Or should I say Justice Leg....haha  And yes, the bruise on my foot hurt the whole time we ran/walked around Dallas

There were so many cool things in Downtown!  Luckily, I knew a lot about Downtown because of all my friend parties and we found most the scavenger hunt things we needed to find!
We even dressed up with random strangers...Hot dang!
Carlie and I then went to Digg's (yum) and she painted my nails super awesome.
On Monday we went to a Ranger's Baseball game.

During my free time that week I watched tons of old videos of when Carlie and I were babies

Also, I babysat this lovely little lady, Anna.  She loved the piano.  Especially when she'd hit the lowest note and I'd sing "looowww" and then she'd scoot up the bench to hit the highest note and I'd sing "hi-hi-hi"
Friday night came round again and we celebrated Edward and Sabrina's b-day old skool style by rollerblading.  I got a huge blood blister to prove how much I got my groove on while skating.  And let's never forget the best dance ever....Gangnam style

Opa!
The next morning, Carlie and I cleaned the apartment then went and got our cupcake on.

Yee-haw

I thought the title would be fitting to be the blog title of my last week in Texas.
It was fantastic.

My friends threw a farewell party for me with chocolate treats.  There was even a Backstreet song performed and danced to by Karen, Annie, and Lacy.  And let's not forget that Austin flipped me one last time.  Best five months of vacation ever!  Thanks, Dallas! #dallasistheplacetobe....but only because of the awesome people
